This is a staircase on the side of a 1970’s concrete building in Wellington, New Zealand. The whole building is a brilliant example of brutalist architecture.
I spent ages working on this image, trying to find the correct balance of shadow and light, and the right amount of detail within the shadow. I suspect it will be an image I return to again and again tweaking and changing, as my mood takes me.
